I add writing contests to my calendar and you can see them here. Since Word Zeal focuses on flash fiction, poetry and other micro and digital storytelling, the contests will be in these areas.

Look ahead since I add them on the deadline. I will also post updates on the blog about contests and submissions with upcoming deadlines.

A few things to consider about writing competitions and publications:

Make sure entry fees and prizes are worth your time and effort.

Sometimes writing contests can be for fun only.
